When to close a pool in Kingston
Close your Kingston pool once the water stays below about 18°C, usually from mid September to late October. Do not wait for the first hard frost, because water left in exposed equipment can freeze and crack it.
Fall leaves and Kingston yards
Mature neighbourhoods like Portsmouth, Sydenham Ward and Reddendale have large oaks and maples that fill pools in October. We clear skimmer throats and baskets before plugging and fit covers tight so wind does not blow leaves underneath. Book on our booking page or see closing prices.
